Al-Masad · The Palm Fibre

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 111:1

   تَبَّتۡ يَدَآ أَبِي لَهَبࣲ وَتَبَّ﴿١﴾

   May the hands of Abū Lahab be ruined, and ruined is he.²⁰⁰⁸

2. 111:2

   مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ﴿٢﴾

   His wealth will not avail him or that which he gained.

3. 111:3

   سَيَصۡلَىٰ نَارࣰا ذَاتَ لَهَبࣲ﴿٣﴾

   He will [enter to] burn in a Fire of [blazing] flame

4. 111:4

   وَٱمۡرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلۡحَطَبِ﴿٤﴾

   And his wife [as well] - the carrier of firewood.²⁰⁰⁹

5. 111:5

   فِي جِيدِهَا حَبۡلࣱ مِّن مَّسَدِۭ﴿٥﴾

   Around her neck is a rope of [twisted] fiber.
