Al-Qadr · The Power, Fate

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1. 97:1

   إِنَّآ أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ فِي لَيۡلَةِ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ﴿١﴾

   Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

2. 97:2

   وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ﴿٢﴾

   And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

3. 97:3

   لَيۡلَةُ ٱلۡقَدۡرِ خَيۡرࣱ مِّنۡ أَلۡفِ شَهۡرࣲ﴿٣﴾

   The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

4. 97:4

   تَنَزَّلُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذۡنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمۡرࣲ﴿٤﴾

   The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.¹⁹⁵⁵

5. 97:5

   سَلَٰمٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطۡلَعِ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ﴿٥﴾

   Peace it is¹⁹⁵⁶ until the emergence of dawn.
