This segment also provides critical public safety and location services, like 911 call handling and mapping solutions, enabling cellular and voice-over-IP carriers to effectively route emergency calls to public safety answering points. The Government Solutions segment delivers advanced tactical satellite-based networks, comprising satellite modems, ruggedized routers, and solid-state drives. It also provides essential sustainment services for both secure and unclassified Internet Protocol router access points, along with small aperture terminals. Furthermore, this segment offers high-performance transmission technologies utilized in demanding applications such as electronic warfare, radar, and identification friend or foe (IFF) systems. Complementing these are troposcatter technologies for satellite communication and powerful radio frequency microwave amplifiers and related switching control systems, which find use in electronic warfare, general communications, radar, IFF, and medical applications. Comtech serves a diverse clientele that encompasses satellite systems integrators, wireless and other communication service providers, satellite broadcasters, prime contractors, system suppliers, medical equipment manufacturers, aviation industry integrators, oil companies, and domestic and international defense and government organizations, as well as end-users.
