Comerica conducts its business in key U.S. states such as Texas, California, Michigan, Arizona, and Florida, and also has an international presence in Canada and Mexico. Established in 1849, the company was originally named DETROITBANK Corporation before changing its name to Comerica Incorporated in July 1982. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Dallas, Texas.
