Its lending operations encompass a broad spectrum, offering financing for commercial real estate, multi-family properties, and residential mortgages. Additionally, it extends secured and unsecured loans to both commercial and consumer clients, alongside home equity loans and funding for construction and land acquisition. Beyond its core lending activities, the company strategically invests in a diverse portfolio of financial instruments. These include mortgage-backed securities, collateralized mortgage obligations, and other asset-backed securities issued by agencies such as the Federal Home Loan Bank, Fannie Mae, Ginnie Mae, and Freddie Mac. Its holdings also comprise U.S. Treasury securities, bonds from New York state and local municipalities, securities from U.S. government-sponsored enterprises, and corporate bonds. Furthermore, Dime Community Bank provides an array of ancillary financial services. These offerings include certificate of deposit account registry services (CDARS), insured cash sweep programs, merchant credit and debit card processing, automated teller machines (ATMs), cash management solutions, lockbox processing, online banking, remote deposit capture, safe deposit boxes, and individual retirement accounts (IRAs).
